Soundway's Colombian music treasure map
solpowerdc: Soundway just posted this really dope infographic of some of the semi-lost Colombian obscurities they have unearthed over the years. I strongly encourage you to check out all the interactive features on this bad boy — live footage, video interviews, and sound clips.

The curved braids would represent the roads they would [use to] escape,” Asprilla Garcia says. “In the braids, they also kept gold and hid seeds which, in the long run, helped them survive after they...

Lost and Found
Pollox the dog is found 2,800 miles from his family after being lost for one year.  The sound of his tail wagging against the crate brought tears to my eyes.  http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/montreal/story/2011/07/08/montreal-dog-redux-708.html#.TheljzrjEcY.tumblr

Reactions:Bin Laden's Death →
‎”It is surprising to see how normal crime and killing has become and how it is celebrated by imperial governments, although they maintain respect…. I believe that in the first place it is an ethical question from the human point of view to celebrate death as an instrument of resolution of a problem.” ~Elias Jaua (Venezuelan V.P.)

Tours By Alicia
Reminiscing. My old website is about to be taken down. Hoping that I’ll be able to get back into the tour business one day. My plan is to become a Nurse Practitioner and travel the world working in various countries. Once I land in a place I want to live, I hope to start up another company like this one. I only wish I had thought of this 10 years ago.
